The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) represents 26 of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical technology corporations. With a former Member of Congress as its President, as well as a team of eight experts with over 100 years of combined government affairs and communications experience, HINJ offers insights into the world of lobbying and corporate communications like no other.

HINJ Interns will:
• Participate in (and be afforded the opportunity to attend) event planning for Congressional Health Forums, Chiefs-of-Staff Dinners, Board of Trustee Meetings and other various events
• Assist in compiling and improving HINJ communications outreach materials
• Assist with maintaining HINJ information
• Be invited into HINJ staff meetings and strategy sessions
• Have broad exposure to the field of Government Relations, Corporate Communications and Lobbying as part of a well-rounded internship experience

The ideal candidate will be a college undergraduate or graduate student with:
• A proven ability to write and excellent verbal skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• An ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• An interest in public affairs
• Your own, reliable transportation
